Default Above 2000rpm failure

When I’m in 4th gear I can’t get my Jeep to get past 2000 rpm without it driving it like a bag a bolts. I have no idea what’s going on other gears are fine far as I know

Year: 2001 60 year Anniversary edition
Model: Cherokee (XJ)
Engine: 4.0 6 cylinder
Default

Just went through this for a year and some one on here said check the carbon build up under your throttle body. So I pulled the throttle-body off and took off all the sensors and cleaned each one with electrical and throttle-body cleaner.then took a brass wire brush to the throttle-body and put it together and back on with a new gasket and WA la all the problems went away except on small leak in the evap system and one out of four 02 sensors had no heat. But hasn't effected anything and it doesn't pound on my back when slowing down anymore. The TPS is working well now also. Mine is a 2001 Cherokee xj 60th anniversary addition.
