ABS removal and double-diaphragm brake booster install
Just picked up the lastest issue of 4wd and sport utility and it has a great article on removing the stock ABS from a '91 XJ and installing a double-diaphragm brake booster.
Ive been looking for how to do this for awhile now and thought I would share the link. http://www.4wdandsportutility.com/te...dup/index.html

That is a great walk-through. I have one question though, I've read elsewhere on the forum that there are also sensors on each wheel that need to be removed. Is this true or is it a moot point when you remove the ABs parts?

I know this thread is a few weeks old, but I thought I'd come take a stab at greeknik's question.
Sensors send data, if there's nothing on the other end to make something of that data then nothing is going to happen. I'd just disconnect the sensors and leave it at that.
