Default AC/Speed control Canister vacuum line

I found out a while back that my canister was missing and also my line was cut as well and I need a replacement to be able to run the canister where it should be for my 98 XJ. Anyone know where I can get a vacuum line for it? Thanks!

the canister should be in the front right bumper and any autoparts store should have vacuum tubing to fit...might be 1/8...unless they plugged the cut line your vent control should not work either

Any vacuum canister from any vehicle will work. I even put one on my 37 Dodge to help the vacuum wipers by soldering a piece of brass tubing into a Hawaiian Punch can and painting it black. The hardest part was emptying the can with only a small hole in it and rinsing it out. I dried it out by putting it in the sun for a while after painting it. I went to all that trouble because I wanted it to look like it was supposed to be there. You can put it anywhere in the system that there is room for it as long as it's downstream of the check valve at the manifold.

Guys that modify their jeeps for offroad with steel bumpers and such will relocate it or eliminate it. My 2000 Grand Cherokee has a nice small one that should work well and you can find one in any junkyard. It's mounted under the right front headlight panel on the frame.
