what would this help?
A sticky lifter will usually quit ticking or have reduced ticking on the second start. This is just to help narrow down the source of the tick.

ok i will try that...but right now im placing my money on manifold bolts are not tight

I replaced it last fall, my guess is they worked loose a little, as stuff heats up and expands it seals....

but your suggestion is easy enough to do so of course i will try that
