Advice: Leak near rear left frame by rear left wheel

... and not be leaking from any of the other holes in the rail on the way to the rear? Makes sense.
My money's on either the diff vent tube spitting oil, or a rear brake line/component leaking. Bottom line is the OP needs to do some noggin pokin then report back. All I'm saying is don't send him to the front of the vehicle on a wild goose chase until the main culprits in the rear are eliminated.

Should not be too hard to tell what the fluid is...motor oil, transmission fluid, gear oil or brake fluid since looks like you have a big puddle is it thick like gear oil? Looks thin and clear in pic of it on your finger. If its thin and clear I would go with brake fluid guess there is also a chance high pressure hose from PS could possibly spray that far also.Any of your fluid levels low?

A puddle that big near your rear tire... I’m guessing brake line.
You can confirm or eliminate this culprit in 30 seconds. Park your Jeep in a clean section of driveway and then mash your brake pedal up and down a dozen times. Check the ground for a fresh puddle.
If it’s up inside your drum instead of a brake line, it may take a couple minutes to puddle where you can see it.
For bonus points, put cardboard down first to keep fluid off your driveway, and/or have a second person nearby to confirm the leak (brake fluid may spray with a lot of force, don’t stand too close without eye protection).

leaking shock? just realized, a clear fluid, brake or leaking shock. gear oil is very stinky, it's a hypoid oil, like transmission fluid. you can smell that from five feet away.

Seems too clear for -90W-. Wet tire, dry shock. I'd spray off that brake fluid off ASAP. It's corrosive, believe me, just slow. Seems to be water soluble, just a little stubborn. The smaller of the two reservoirs I expect is low or out. If you can do it safely, a car wash would be ideal. If I understand these things you are about to trip your proportioning valve If you haven't already.
