Its not negativity. Your not running anywhere near that power on one low end alternator and one optima battery.
Yes, I am referring to the spindle speeds, I rarely refer to the RPM of the CS. We're pretty much on the same page, I just try to stay away from technical statements as other users can be confused quite quickly. Not many people are MECP/CCC/HAVIC/Etc. Or even have a slight background in the field.

only input I've got on this topic is on your ebay link to the bnr parts store 200 amp alt, DONT buy it! Well unless you want to spend over 200$ on shipping and 2 busted *** wrong alternators to just video tape the 2nd pos they send you to get your cash back.
just a forewarning to anyone looking at that link. Think I still have my video if anyone wants proof lol
carry on, just wanted to save a headache.

You stated 2 amplifiers at 2000wRMS. Not happening with one low end alt and one yellow top. The current draw would exceed the alternators output.
Iraggi, dominick@tds.net, Id give you his number but he doesnt answer for people he does not know.

Yep, Diesel is correct. The 4.0L motor is notorious for running hot & altho its a great motor, the cooling system is its weak spot. By ditching the clutch fan u free up a few ponies & add efficiency to the system.
Now back to the alternator choices i have...
1) Mean Green
2) Powermaster
3) Iraggi
Anyone else know of a 200amp alt that could be swapped in??
((Remember, i have a 140 in there with a yellow top))

I don't know what you would think of this, but nobody's mentioned it yet, so I'll just put it out there. The Cherokees with the police package had an extended idle switch that raised rpms at idle so they could run all their electronics and lights. It might be a cheaper and simpler install than a bigger alternator. Just a thought.

You don't need a cap. Caps are a waste of money and have little no to benefit on your electrical system.
Contact Iraggi, or look up DC power. They both have fantastic alternators that will meet your needs fine. But your going to spending more money than your budget to get what you want. It's not probable if you actually want something that does rated.
What brand of amps are you running ? Just because they say "2000w RMS" doesn't mean the amps will do rated.
