Aftermarket Diff covers - what's the Diff??

I actually like the idea here but the price for it is a lil high. Looks like a stock cover with some steel welded to it. Get some diff covers form the junk yard clean it up and weld some steel to it... Great idea though.
Rough stuff is the same price maybe 5 buck difference that is fabbed to be strong top and bottom. These also have higher fill points for increased pinion angle.

these are thicker than stock covers. the stock covers are 1/8" and ours are made of 3/16" as well as the plates. here is a picture of a used one...

I am sure they are strong but honestly if you are about to spend 120 bucks on a diff cover and you had to choose between yours and the one I pictured from SOLID which would you choose. Jeep need to be strong and look decent lol.
