Default Air Conditioner

98 Jeep Cherokee, it's pretty much stock. Just purchased it from someone else. Anyways I go to turn the ac on and everything is fine and dandy until I start driving. It seems the air goes else where and does not blow out the vents anymore. It seems to only blows out when I come to a red light. I am thinking it could be the ac comp because I replaced all the lines and I am not seeing any type of leak when I do my water test so I am at a dead end. Help guys.

You have a vacuum leak.

Just checked the lines and I couldn't find a leak no where. I'm not sure where it could be. I'll be taking it to the mechanic first thing after work tomorrow and have them run a vac test on it.

Start at the vacuum ball. Check it for any cracks or loose hoses. It's under the front bumper, passenger side and fallow the hoses all the way to the fire wall. I'm sure you will find either a loose connection or a cracked hose.

Thanks Rob, it was so worn out. I ended up replacing the ball and hose, the ac works perfect, I even got cruise control to work in the process.
