I need to replace the bow arms on my 97 cherokees roof rack...these are all bent to..well you know..my question is how do i get my end caps off to remove the arm's..and if anyone has any roof rack bow arms preferably from a 96 through 99 i sure would be interested

Remove the end cap off the rails by removing the screw.
Push the release button on the crossbar holder and slide to end of rail and remove.
Easier done with two people, one on each side.
The release buttons are a bugger to make work if they haven't been used in a decade or so.

Anyone know where to get a "release button assembly"? I'm almost 2hrs from a pick and pull so online would be nice.
