Alternators hate me...
Alright guys i need some opinions... Well lets start at the beginning.
In march i got a bad alternator, and changed it out. all was well until last Monday night, when it went bad again. Went to auto-zone with the old one, came back with a new one. Lifetime warranty FTW. the swap went well again.
Now on my way home last night, its showing the same signs the old ones did... im driving, my battery gauge falls to 9 and the check gauges light comes on.... im really pissed off that this is happening again, how could it be bad already?!? I went wheeling today with some friends but it was really dry and the only mud we got was from one pass. i cant believe that one pass killed my alternator. besides, everyone wheels jeeps, with the alts in the same place. How can mine be going bad so quickly and easilly?!

Might be a useless question but... Is the plug on the alternator pushed in all the way? Mine came out just a little before and cause the alternator to not work all I had to do was push it back in all the way
