am I another victim...or is it just condensation?

Just another little info I forgot to mention. I had the entire cooling system pressure tested and it held pressure no problem. It wasn't just a radiator pressure test, but a full system pressure test and there weren't any leaks (I guess that was with the radiator cap off and connected to their machine). If the head was cracked, would the system not hold pressure due to leaking into the oil galley or am I not looking at this correctly...?

I've noticed milky foamy crap on oil filler caps many times on many vehicles. I assume condensation.
You don't need a radiator or a pump. If you don't have heat in the cab, it's either because the valve is not opening and allowing the hot stuff into the heater core OR the DPO bypassed the HC (don't laugh...I've seen it), OR the HC is plugged full of Barr's Stop Heat...Oh, Yeah, And Leaks Too OR you live in Michigan or Ontario and cannot tell if the heater is on.
I've voting for crapped out HC.

Oh I'm 99.99999% sure the HC is just clogged again. The PO never checked his coolant...for 3 YEARS! When I got it, it was muddy brown (not coolant + oil). I'm assuming condensation as well and still keeping an eye on my coolant reservoir tank to make sure it doesn't drop any. I drove around a bit today, and when I got home, I checked the level and it was about where it was last night...maybe just a HAIR lower, but I noticed a little more leakage around the rad. cap. That's getting replaced tomorrow, HC is getting flushed Friday, and I'm changing the oil Saturday. Hopefully I can turn this around and then start focusing on other issues: changing the spark plugs, Valve cover gasket replacement, tranny fluid, and TC fluid. After that, every "maintenance" fluid/part will have been replaced/checked.

the condensation on the oil filler cap is normal.
my 04 hemi ram does the same thing...
change your oil and look at it, if its milky in your oil then you probably have a problem... unless its been sitting for a year or something... sometimes if you let a rig sit for a long period of time the condensation will build up enough to where it'll make your oil milky...
if for some reason you end up with a blown HG or cracked head... i've had very good success with the bars leak headgasket / crack repair stuff...
i had a massive crack on a engine i was going to put in my hot rod truck... it was so bad after one night half the cylinders would be completely full of water and it would not turn over... i used the bar leaks stuff on it (i had to do it twice) and it is fine now... and this is a turbo motor running 15+psi

Since we're on the coolant subject, do you guys use 50/50 or just pure antifreeze? because i replaced my upper rad. hose and my coolant was very low, and i had like 6 gallons of pure antifreeze. So i just used pure, its probably like 90% or more pure coolant, very little water
Coolant is straight up lime green

The only time you should run straight anything in your coolant is when you drag race, then you use straight water

all 50/50 means is its already mixed with water at the proper ratio 50:50
you should defiantly not run pure anti-freeze without any water... that would be super expensive anyways lol....
50/50 is more expensive than pure anti-freeze. i usually just buy some pure anti-freeze then mix it close enough with water...
you can run pure water if you aren't worried about it getting cold enough to freeze hard... running anti-freeze in your coolant even if you don't need it can still help you because it lubricates the water pump and what not and might make them last longer...

if the fluid is goin down then look on the underside of the upper radiator hose. Dunno if the 6 popper's hose is like that of my 4 banger, but if it is then it's laying right on a bolt for the A/C and it can make a hole in it over time (happened to me last week) And i had noticed that my coolant would very slowly go down over time and now that i replaced the hose it hasnt went down at all

I checked all the hoses and I don't see anything wet or leaking there. The only wet spot I can see is on the radiator filler neck. Looks to be coming from the cap, but who knows. Other than that, there's no coolant leaking anywhere.
The PO used Stop Leak and that crap gets EVERYWHERE! I will stay as far from that stuff as humanly possible. When trying to flush a block to get it all out, it's virtually IMPOSSIBLE!

probably would hurt to replace the one on the old J-Ride now that i think about it

everything is still fine a year later, and a years worth of 15+psi boosted WOT trips
some of the products cant' be used with anti-freeze is the system or it will harden when its not supposed to and block off passages... maybe he did that.

Yeah, this is the 2nd cap I've used. First was a crappy lever cap, then I went to a Stant normal cap, now I'll try another Stant and see what happens. If it continues to leak, I'm gonna have them pressure test the radiator/whole cooling system again and make sure the radiator isn't cracked. If it is, it's still under warranty :-D

It was a mix of a couple of things and no heat was one of them. I had the heater core flushed again and I have some heat now. I also changed the oil cuz I was afraid of the cracked head due to the condensation on the bottom of the oil cap. All things are good though, so no worries.
