Hello,
I'm looking to purchase a 1995 Cherokee and the seller says that the A/C unit is intact but not working? Not to sure on the not working i.e. not blowing cold air or just not blowing at all. I'll have to ask and get back to ya'll. I was just trying to find out worst case scenario costs. Thanks in advance! LOVE THE SITE BY THE WAY!!!!

About $600 for all new parts (no evap or cond), PAG oil and a/c flush and you u do the labor and have a shop pull a vacuum and charge with freon. At least double that if u have all that done at a shop.

Hello,
I just filled my ac up and it blows cold air. But when I accelerate the entire compressed shakes and makes a loud grinding noise. Did I overcharge or is it the compressor?

help a girl
my ac when accelerating sounds like it hits reverse, the air feels like it is being sucked back into nowhere. While accelerating there is hardly no air flow at all and after accelerating is complete it takes a few minutes for the ac to start blowing again. Also the ac only works on high, I have no other working options for airflow. I really have no one to help me figure this out and i can not afford to take to shop. Please help. Also being new to this I probably put question in wrong place. Sorry if I am doing this wrong.
