99 xj sport, auto, 4l.
Gauges not working(anything with a needle) all lights seem to be working, oil pressure needle does move slightly when key is first turned but thats it.

Checked every single fuse in the jeep, tired cleaning and and putting dielectric grease on pins, no change, no amount of taping and wire jiggling gets the gauges working either. Also most people with same problem seem to get a No Buss code, i do not. When i run the gauge actuator self test everything works.

Im down to just ordering the new connector now, seems to work for everyone who has done so. But my concern is that I read that this connector on the jeep should be black, both connectors to my cluster are green. I spend a bunch of time reading the wireing dirgams for the cluster and was gonna do some probing around but then realized the wires to these connectors are alos different colors then is says in the Mitchelle 1 repair manuals.

So my question is how do i know which connector to replace? Also if anyone eles came across this with the connector and wires being a different color then they should be? Im really hopeing the connector has not been replaced already, i dosnt look like its been soldered in.
