Default Another Tire Question

I'm getting the Death Wobble when I hit a bump at 45+ mph. Whether it's the tires or not, the inner side walls are cracked . Tire and Alignment shops won't touch them. I'm running a 2" BB (spacers and shackles). I have exactly 2" in front and only 1" in back (leaf sag). 15x7 stock aluminum alloy rims, backspacing is 3". Axles: Dana 30 and Chrysler 8.25. (I might as well give all the info I can.)

I currently have 235X75X15 (about a 29.1" tire).

I'd like to do 31X10.50X15 (30.7") ATB's as seen:Here.
I'm worried about rubbing of course.

Either those or 30X9.50X15 (29.5") A/T's as seen: Here.

The real question is would it be too risky to go 1.6" bigger than now or should I go with .4" (not much) instead?

(Please don't tell me to cut up the fenders, I have considered this and decided against it. Why Treadwright? First is price second Kedge Grip.)

This is alot to ask, I thank you ahead of time for your help.

Tires are tires, go with what makes you happy. Death wobble usually occurs when the drag link and trac bar are not parallel. If they're 'close enough' then a larger steering stablizer may help...

a stabilizer is just a band aid for the real problem it is most likely that your track bar is lose or another front end part. have someone get in the jeep and turn the wheel back and forth while you look for lose parts

No this is wrong on all accounts. A stabilizer is NOT a fix for DW. Drag link and trackbar not parrallel does not cause DW, it causes bump steer.

DW is caused by wear or looseness in the Steering and Suspension Joints.
Check and repair in this order, trackbar, Ball joints, TRE's, Control Arm busshing, Sway Bar bushings, Steering box, shocks, Unit bearing, Stablizer.

30" tire might fit on you 1" of lift, 31 will need at least 1-2" more.

Disregard the Death Wobble. I want to know if I can run 31's without rubbing.

Yeah, Thanks everyone... . After trying on a 31" BFG KM in the front and back I'm going with 31's.
I used this chart in case anyone stumbles across this http://www.800-923-jeep.com/techCorner/tire_fitment.cfm.
Also here's pics of the 31" vs 29" https://www.cherokeeforum.com/member...2-bb-31-tires/.
