Default another tire and rim question

Hello,
I am new, i am building a Comanche and have already swapped a Dana 44 underneath it and SOA on the rear, and I got a bout 6.5inches of lift.
I started to work on the front and ordered a rock krawler three link kit and am currently putting it on, I am looking ahead to wheels and tires and like these wheels
http://www.roughcountry.com/cepek_wheel_dc2_black.html
and can't choose between 15x8 or 15x10
I am leaning towards these tires 35x12.5x15
http://www.4wd.com/productdetails.aspx?jeep-sid=1115&plID=10744&partID=57145
any opinions would be greatly appreciated
thanks in advanced for the help

I think you should get 8" width rims, they will hold the tires fine and be a little bit cheaper

Not sure of wheel well room on a Comanche, 8 inch rims will make the tires a little narrower when mounted, which could help them fit in the wells. Also make sure you take the back spacing into consideration.

yes, get less backspacing, also go with the 8" width, when aired down they hold the tire better than a 10" does.

If u will go to TireRack.com and enter "tires by size" u'll see that NONE of the tire company's that make a 35X12.50/15 recommend a 8" wheel. All of them show "measured rim width" on a 10" wide wheel with 8.5" being minimum width.

50% or 4 inches looks ok if you want the tire to stick out a little more go with 3.75 inches. Want them tucked in a little more maybe 4.25 or 4.50 inches of back spacing. Like I stated in my earlier post I'm not sure about the Comanche wheel wells.

I had 35x12.50s on a 15x10 inch rim, the tread sat nice and flat and I never had any issues with airing them down. If i personally got 35x12.50s again, i would get 15x10s.

get as far away from those wheels as possible as fast as you can!!!!!! They are bad bad bad.... Haha. Look at my pics. I went with the 15x10 w a 35x12.5 bfg...:d

I came back to add this... They are a little bit of a pain to get on and off. You can't use a 4 way or even a standard impact socket. You have to use a thin wall socket and I had to switch from 13/16 lugs to 3/4 long to be able to get them started. FYI

I know what the tire manufacturers say! I also know almost everyone that I wheel with runs 11.50, and 12.50 tires on 8 inch rims, 13.50 go to 8.5 or 10 inch rims. I think the manufacturers might know something, but I also know that most of what is on tire rack is what they recommend and just because they recommend something doesn't make it the right way to set up for wheeling. ( Hint, just because a web site makes a statement that doesn't make it a fact or the truth. )

U think the tire/wheel info is recommended by TireRack.......and not the tire manufacturer??????? C'mon, man. I'm just trying to provide the OP with some facts from the tire manufacturer that TireRack consolidates and posts on their site. If the OP wants to mount 12.50s on 4" wide rims, I'm sure he can git 'er done.
