I have a 98 xj classic. Took some front end damage in an accident and while replacing the fender, the antenna. It was stuck and I basically destroyed it trying to separate it from the fender. My problem is finding a replacement, has anyone done this? Any help to locate the right replacement part would be greatly appreciated.

 

Salvage yards are a good source if you have one available. I did a quick google search and found about 20 options that would fit your year in seconds. Check ebay, lots of hits there.

 

that's crazy. I've net searched multiple times and can't get a year match. Except grand cherokee. I'll search again.. you found entire antenna assembly sets? Or just the antenna. I need the base. Can't find it.

 

all of it is for a part that's discontinued.
