To put your minds at rest, 96 is the last year they used an HCV. Because they finally realized it was a **** poor design. Which is why if anyone who has a 96 or older does any work to their cooling system that requires you to drain the coolant, delete the HCV entirely. They're super prone to leaking and will just cause you a headache at some point down the line.

Hey guys I had the heater core replaced and about a month after it started smelling again and the windshield started fogging up as well I tried using the blue devil leak stop stuff and didn't seem to help so now I'm stumped does this mean my heater core is out again or is something else leaking I'm confused someone please lend some helpful advice!?
