Anyone with a 6" lift please help!!!! What are you running for a rear driveshaft????????

so you can do this instead of buying the $300 cv style shaft? you still need the sye kit tho right?

you will need a sye kit...i used a DIY SYE and the front automatic DS is a Double CV axle.

I measured my rear shaft and its 35.25" yoke to yoke. How long is your front shaft your using??

I am still running the stock rear DS on my 91. I swapped in a Chryco 8.25 and ditched the D35. The 8.25 pinion is longer than the D35 and it pushed the DS back into the tcase in it's original position. I have very minimal vibes but will still be going to a SYE in the near future.

i havnt installed it yet but i know it wont cause issues...because tons have dont it......

I got the IRO Hack-n-Tap and a front from a auto and I have around 7". A stock front DS from a auto should work on a auto with a C 8.25 with up to 8", Biggest thing to remember is to get shims! you will have to go around 6 degrees of shims or re weld the leaf brackets.
