Default Anybody use regular rotella 15W40

As I saw some members mentioned the use in their XJ, I wonder how many people use this diesel oil, regular or synthetic? Oil change interval and enviornment temperature.

Thanks for any inputs.

I am running the Rotella 15w40 in my '92 XJ. But, I keep it in the garage on those cold nights (-20 F) lately. I just picked up 2 jugs of 10w30 at the local Menards for $10.97 each and will be changing it tomorrow if I get time. Just about 5K miles on the last change.

Heard nothing but good things about running Rotella in our 4.0s. Plus the price is right!

I run 5w30 in the Winter and 10w30 in the Summer just as Chrysler recommends. I would also change at 3,000 miles as recommended also. These aren't the cleanest burning engines, and I think 5,000 miles is pushing it. If you change it yourself, it's cheap insurance.

I run Rotella 15/40 in both my waggies. Each one is running great. Due to there age I still change the oil every 2-3000 miles .

I run Rotella Synthetic 5-40 in my Bronco2.
In winter anyways. Run 10-40 M1 in summer.
(shop that rebuilt its engine suggested 10-40)

The Cherokee gets Pennszoil platinum 10-30 year round.
