mine is fine with 31's on stock suspension, my fenders are trimmed and the only time i rub is when i hit big bumps going fast, i dont rub at full lock but i think thats bc of the rims i have. first picture is the day i got it, completely stock, the second is with my 31x10.5's

Well yeah, but you removed your flares and cut your fenders. Not exactly stock.
Plus it appears your wheel & tires stick halfway out from under the body. You would be subject to a ticket in my state with that.

If ya wanna run 31's, just get the 3.5 rubicon express lift, IMO it's the way to go. Here's mine, no rub or anything and rides great!

My daughter has a 90 xj that came with 31's from the PO. He had all the parts for the lift, but hadn't installed it yet, so she drove through the winter like that. She did get some rubbing when making sharp turns, and occasionally the back would hit when she went over a large bump. It wasn't great, but was something she lived with for a few months until we had time to put the lift on it.

I had 31" tires on my rig for a VERY short time at stock height. I had the tires installed before my lift kit had arrived.
On the street it was ok, only rubbed the lower arms at full lock but the minute I loaded 2 additional adults in my rig it rubbed all over the place.
Also when I did the most minute of trail driving it would rub all over.
