I have replaced my wiper delay module (under dash) sourced from a reputable yard who says it's been tested. I also replaced my wiper/turn signal switch with a brand new unit. Wiper delay still not working. Any ideas on what else could be the issue? Thanks!

Do the wipers work normally on low and high? The wiper module basically flips on the low wipers for a second then they park themselves, so if the low speed works then that should eliminate the wiring to the motor and the motor itself.

Yeah, they work on low and high, and occasionally the delay starts working...especially in the summer when its warmer. Wondering how heat might be an issue.

Remove the new module and clean the connectors real well.

Hello everyone. I have been reading for some time and decided to join today so I could hopefully help with this intermittent wiper problem. I am not a tech or pretend to be but I solved my 2000 wiper problem completely by accident. I know the 2000 does not have the wiper module that this 1995 has but the fix still may work. I started with the wiper switch as the manual pointed me towards this in the troubleshooting process. No luck with the switch but now I had a shiney new switch and I could take the column apart. Learning experience. Before getting around to wrestling the wiper motor out of the cowl I had one of my washer motors quit working. I ordered two new motors due to the age of the system. Anyway, both motors were super crusty. Here is the happy accident- my intermittent wipers began working like new. I am not sure how the wiring runs through this circuit but there must have been a grounding out of some sort happening. Hopefully this can be replicated for others. Sorry, long first post.

I'd also say check the connector to your multifunction switch, any signs of corrosion most likely are the culrpit.

Resurrecting this thread for a friend. I am no electrician, and those wiring diagrams make my eyes hurt. But someone mentioned Grand Cherokee module swap? I didn't hear much about this as I would like? Is the 93 a direct swap perhaps?
