New exhaust is in. The header will be in a week or two but this is with the Magnaflow cat and muffler. Has a little deeper sound than the stock.

I just installed an APN on my '97. It took quite a bit of manhandling and wiggling, but I finally got it on there. However, the intake is pressed against the header on the #1 and #6 tubes....is this a big deal? Is the heat from the header going to cause problems pressed against the intake? Should I take it all apart again and do some grinding/denting?
Also, I busted the rear header stud. Not sure I will be able to get a drill in there to pull the broken stud. Any recommendations? Should I just run without it and hope it doesn't leak?

Sounds like I'm in for all sorts of fun. I've got a 96 but I have the APN header in my dining room waiting on my 99+ intake to arrive so I can start getting all that installed.

What down pipe did you go with? I'm not even going to try to bother getting the Oxygen Sensor out of mine because it's kinda kinked and bent so I will just replace. I have a 2.5 high flow cat, magnapack and tailpipe in the back of the Jeep now.

I had a custom 2.5" downpipe and used a new O2 sensor I mine. If you got into the cherokee non tech section their is a sticky for exhaust setups. Mine is the Xj in post 2. I also have a APN header , 2.5" hiflow cat 2.5" magnapack muffler , and 2.5" tailpipe so you know what it'll sound like.

I know what it sounds like because I ordered all of my stuff based on your video.
Just not sure that I'll be able to go with the custom downpipe. I haven't had much luck finding a place near me to do it so I may end up with a Walker downpipe or something similar.
