apn header flange is a little bit thicker than the intake manifold flange

You got that right.. I was thinking, :gee, I KNOW I udes a socket wrench to REMOVE the old bolts.. why can't I get in there!!"
Needless to say I couldn't put a torque wrench on it to torque it to spec.

Torque Wrench??? i stop using that after i snapped-off my rear Header Stud.

i tore it back down and bought new bolts, except for the stud that i couldn't get out. The remaining 10 bolts are tight and no leaks yet!!!

With that said... i think the thicker flange is GROOVY!!!
