Okay, took me all day today to wrestle around, but I finally managed to change the screen and the gasket on the AW4 pan. Question I have is for checking the level, I nearly put 3.9L in and its running okay (quick drive) but what is the correct procedure to check the HOT AT fluid Level. Following procedure was used and I would appreciate if you can point out the error.
1. Run the cold engine at idle for 5 minutes and during that time, I shifted from P to 1/2 and back till all gear engaged with parking brake and foot brake on.
2. Engine still idle and engine temp has reached 100C, if I check AT fluid level with engine running it is not on the FULL mark on the Hot side of the dipstick.
3. If I turn the engine off and wait for 60 seconds and then check the dip stick, the HOT side of the dip stick is showing FULL.
So, do I have the correct amount according to the dipstick or not?
Note - For those confused between a Filter or Screen, after actually doing this DIY, I say it is a Screen to block larger particle entering into the AT and does not perform any sort of dirt filteration on the oil. Also, I thought the screen would have been on the pan, but it is actually bolted to the valve body/AT with 4x10mm bolts with two rubber sealing in the middle for support.

The directions for checking the fluid level are on the dipstick.

Thanks for the direction, in short I should be checking the ATF fluid level after 15KM ride at idle with engine running. I was little low but at the same time I am leaking a little oil so before I top up, I better check where it is leaking from.........
