ok then, the transmission that chrysler has chosen and purchased and included in the engineering and manufacturing of many vehicles are not very good.
whats next people starting to whine that the 4.0 isnt a Jeep engine its AMC
oh and technically it was a joint product of Aisin (Japanese) and Warner (USA)

They are indeed using German technology.
Notice what I said? I didn't say they are using German technology to make the AW4.
I said now they are using German technology.
Until Chrysler goes out of business and closes its doors for good they will still be using some technology.

I agree my brother has had a few Grand Cherokees and the transmissions suck. If they continued having other people make their parts for them they probably wouldn't be in the mess they are in.

Interesting.
We can split hairs all day long. It just doesn't make sense to.
Hense the [face palm]
Most of us know the history of Jeep, is it really necessary to debate it over and over and over?

But what is so hard to understand that Chrysler had nothing to do with the designing the engine. Your from Wisconsin where they built the engines you should know these things, if you don't Google it.
