AW4 pilot bushing??
2001 XJ, 4.0, AW4 auto
About to bolt the AW4 to the freshly rebuilt 4.0,, a new crank was used in the rebuild, I do not have the old crank handy.
The front of the AW4 Torque Converter has a machined "Snout",, this snout is considerably smaller than the machined recess in the rear of the crank.
Is there a bushing that goes in the crank?
The mopar parts book shows one next to the manual flywheel, but not the auto flex plate.
Does the torque converter need a pilot bushing/bearing??

Thanks,
But why do the have a machined snout on the TC? it looks like a piece that was welded on then machined,, for no purpose what so ever?
