Then it's probably your shift solenoids

If you really want to sort the solenoids out, you can also test the solenoids before you decide to replace them.

Have a read through this here

Well I tore into the bottom of the tranny after picking up a couple of spare solenoids and testing via the ohm meter test 13ohms +/- 2, they checked out good at 12.5 each, after pulling my old ones I checked them for the heck of it and guess what they checked out at around 12 ohms, so I tested them with a jumper wire finding that the shift solenoid B from my tranny and the spare tranny are both bad, so IMO the ohm test on solenoids is crap. Ordered 3 brand new ones last night 😁

I have never had much luck ohm testing anything. The part either works or it doesn't. When I use a troubleshooting tree to diagnose the problem, I just go to the very bottom of the page where it says "replace with known good part". It works 9 out of 10 times.

Well I typically would do that but, when funds are limited you have to settle for less, in my case it's costing me more haha
