I'm not sure MaxLife is the correct fluid. Are you?

the valvoline Maxlife dexron is just high milage aft fluid, and I replaced the old TPS because it was corroded, and I had a problem with the old one but not the same problem. Also I do not se any link to a website.

Engine: 4.0, new lifters valve job with new springs and exhaust valves, preload set with shims

$20 throttle position sensor? Have you hooked up your $29 scan tool to see if it's working? Shift issues, this is first stop. Should be around 16% at idle and move up linearly. That means in a straight line. Any breaks, dips, it's toast. Have had the cheap ones bad outta the box.
