Default ax-15 throw out bearing issues

I just replaced the motor in my 96 xj and while i was replacing it i figured i would replace the clutch as well while it was out. After buying a new luk replacement clutch kit and installing it i had problems with the new throw out bearing that came in the kit. I removed the old throw out bearing which fit snug on the output shaft of the transmission, but when i went to put the ew throw out bearing from the luk kit it had a lot of play room when firmly on the output shaft. I wasn't happy with the Luk throw out bearing because it is made of a lot of plastic but i was just wondering if there was supposed to be room for the throwout bearing to wiggle on the output shaft or not. I just want to know if i should return the kit because the throw out bearing is the wrong fitment or not. I have already searched online but nothing specifies if there is allowed to be play room on the output shaft or not. Any help would be greatly appreciated

I recently just installed the same kit and noticed this issue as well. I shrugged it off and just rolled with it. I've only been driving with the new clutch for about a week but I haven't had any problems yet.

yeah my old throughout bearing was all metal and fit snug against the output shaft, this new bearing is plastic on the inside and has room to wiggle around while seated on the output shaft.

well thats a sigh of relief but i would rather try to fix the problem while the engine and trans are out than after i have driven it haha. but i am glad that its not just my kit that came with that plastic throw out bearing so i know that it wasn't screwed up from factory.
