I have a 1992 Jeep Cherokee sport 4x4 with the internal slave cylinder. This needs replacing and I would like to convert to an external slave cylinder to save the headache of dropping the transmission when this needs to be done tge next time. I could do this by myself, but at this point I would really like to just pay someone to drop the tranny and do the swap for me. I live north of houston and dont mind driving to get to someone who can do it. Anybody know a mecahnic who wouldnt have to be led by the hand throough the process in Texas? I want someone who has done this before, can get all the parts and do the swap without asking me a bunch of questions on how to do it. Who is up for it?
