AX15 Manual XJ weird issue happened today
Hello all, I took my current project for a drive today and found that when I started it the clutch remained engaged even though I had the pedal to the floor. As in, I went to put it into reverse, it grinded, and wouldn’t go into first. Then, I simply let off the pedal and pressed it again and everything was back to normal. Anyone know what this is a symptom of?

How's the fluid level in the clutch master cylinder?
Also the condition of the fluid.
Look for fluid leaking into the cabin up near where the clutch pedal attaches.
