I have 16" teardrop alloy Explorer rims on my '96.

You need to enlarge the centre counter bore by about 2mm at either front or back, cant remember which ( I did all 5 with a die grinder)

nuts do up 8 turns instead of 10 with an XJ 15" steel wheel

they look good, and are much lighter than XJ steel wheels

Thank you Awg. I was thinking about the die grinder but wanted to ask what other people do. They do look good. I put new tires on the rims. The front are fine.

Explorer wheels are techically "hub centric"..so even though the wheels nuts hold them on, preferably only grind the bore very carefully till they just fit over the jeep "hubs"

in addition, you probably ought do the spare, or no doubt you will get caught
