Axle and Lift Question????
Ok, here’s my problem. I have a 2000 XJ it currently has a 3" lift, with 31 x 10.5 15's. Not real sure what rear axle i have. Believe it is the 8.25.
Problem #! The Passenger side it leaking, enough that the drum brakes are all wet and slimy. So do I do the seals on both sides or just the one that is leaking?
Problem #2 The passenger side add a leaf is broken in the middle. It is still holding together but needs to be replaced. If I am going to replace them what should I replace them with? Brand, Size, etc? My thought was to replace them with a 4" to 4.5" leaf package. and then add 1" to 1.5" spacer in the front. but would probably have to add a SYE. But would a 4" or 4.5" look funny with my wheels and tires? 31 x 10.5 15's? They are brand new and I don't want to replace them.
Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance
