so I finally got the axle from the 87 xj onto the 95 xj. went to put on the finishing touches ie break rotors and calipers and i find out the pads are too long for the bracket! so here is the question... will 87 xj pads fit on 95 xj calipers? is the bolt pattern the same on both years for the knuckle crown? or do i have to change the entire steering knuckle out.... im bout to just push it off a cliff....

 

dont think they are the same size different listings for brake pads

 

Baaaahhhhh gay! really not trying to do all that. guess i could just buy new pads for that year and just hook those calipers to my break lines.
