Default Axle Shaft

Really not a technical question, but on the axle shafts there is a plastic disc thingy, looks like a dust cover. Does anyone know what that is called and were I can find another one. I seem to have misplaced mine while doing the u-joints

That is what it is. Not so much a dust cover but more for larger debris.

You really dont need them. If you don't have gear oil coming out the ends of your axle tube that means your axle seals are keeping oil in and thus will keep water and trail debris out so you don't need those flemsy plastic covers.

x2 mine broke on the passenger when i was doing seals and can't see it being a problem although i'm sure its wise to keep mud and small rocks out of there
