I am running a front driveshaft on mine with 3.5" of lift. I haven't picked up my shims yet.
Did you install the big lock rings in the slots on either side of where the blue gear would go had you installed it?

i do have to shim the rear. And the for the blue gear, i left that out because i was having i heck of a time getting the 2 snap rings, so i planned on going back another time to put it on...

You really should get those shims in before deciding on the rear driveshaft. Maybe you don't need to give up on the ones you have yet.

yeah because i lowered my rear to 2 inches and it stilll was a half inch too short, it has to be the pinion angle
