Baffled..No fuel flow in on, only key in start..1990 Pioneer 4.0 no start...

Bypassed the starter relay. No power in to the relay, ran a jumper from the battery and the pump runs. Engine starts and runs with the jumper from the battery. I suppose have to find the fusible link to fix the issue, any ideas where its located?

We cleaned out the connector for the fuel pump relay and used a jumper wire to bypass the the relay. Its starts and runs but dies sometimes and wont restart for awhile. Blowing white smoke at idle, no signs of oil/coolant mixing hoping/wishing it could be excess water in the fuel as it sat for unknown amount of time before the previous owner, (teenager) tried to fix it before i ended up with it.
