Well, first of all, remember that there are no stupid questions! Only stupid people asking questions!
Just kidding! No, really, it's not a stupid question. I think the problem is that there's no good place to put them. There is too much stuff in the way on the inner fender, and anything on the outer fender would be completely useless.
With the hood vents, you have the fairly steady airflow over the car to draw air out of the vents. Plus, they are at the hottest spot, the top, so hot air flows very naturally.

Coolant flush
Hey guys, this is my first post. I did a coolant flush yesterday, and i put 2 gallons of coolant for 1 gallon of distilled water in my 3 gallon capacity jeeo xj 2000. Now i know its more than 60/40 or even 70/30. I was wondering if it would have negatives affecr on my system and if it would have my engine temp running hotter? Thanks!
