Battery guage was pinned while driving on the highway
Battery guage was pinned while driving on the highway,check gauges light came on,pulled over and put it in park..the light went off after a few seconds.started driving and it happened again,pulled over again light went off and I drove home..??anyone know what that is?

Your alt is going bad. Could be a bad battery but I am sure the alt is going bad. Mine did the exact same thing two months ago. Take it to a parts store and have them both tested. I ended up replacing both for good measure.

Yeah the alternator is bad, if it happen again try to turn everything possible so you use as much electricity as possible and you don't overcharge the battery that much
Take the alternator to so shop to test but most likely u will need to change it ...

Accurate. HOWEVER! they put 2 3.5 oz weights on the insides of each of my front tires to fk with me after I told them I would rather do it myself then pay them. I assure you I will not be returning to that store.

Again, no, the regulator is NOT in the alternator. Its actually in the PCM, also known as the ECU.
