BB lifts... Daystar or TeraFlex?
I'm going to be getting some sort of spacer lift soon and was wondering which is really the best out of the two?
I know a few of you guys on here have the TF kit but was wondering if there have been any major problems out of them? I know there shouldn't be many problems to possibly come out of just some 2" coil spacers and some shackles.
Are the TF shackles greaseable? I know the Daystar's aren't.
The main reason I would get the Daystar is because I would be getting a small lift AND supporting Tellico 4x4 and the Tellico ORV park.

I started with a Rusty's 4.5" lift kit. When I was done installing it I noticed the front of my XJ sat a little lower than the back. Then, I installed my front bumper and winch and my front REALLY sat lower. I installed the Daystar BB (1 3/4" front spacers and 1" lift rear shackles). My XJ now, sits level at about 6". I really like the Daystar BB. It leveled out my Jeep and it's been on for over a year now and it's still sitting level. I HIGHLY recommend it.

I'll probably be going with the Daystar but I'm not sure because it is a little more expensive than the TF and I'm on a very tight budget.
Also, will I need to get new shocks right away?

IMHO the teraflex shackles are better. If memory servers the Daystar shackles do not have the center bracing like teraflex. IMHO Rocky Roads shackles are the way to go..Spacers are spacers so brand matters not there as far as I am concerned.

I might just go with TF. I'm just trying to get everything in one package.
I'll only be running this til I get out of school this summer. Then once I can get another DD, my XJ is going under the knife big time. I just want something right now to jack it up a little bit so I can fit some larger tires.

The lack of the center brace in the Daystar shackles was the first thing I noticed when I got them. They do come with greaseable bolts and so far, I haven't been able to break one. I'm not easy on them by any stretch of the word, either.
My take on shackles is that shackles are shackles and you should go with the least expensive ones you can find. If the TF shackles are cheaper, then go with them.

I'm kind of computer illiterate as you all saw when I did my XJ Write Ups. When I transfer pics from mycomputer to the forum, they come out tiny for some reason unbeknownst to me.
When you say post more pics, do you mean more pics of my XJ or 4wheeling action pics??

I'll see what pics I have at home on my computer and I'll take some more tonight. I will be installing my front Aussie Locker tonight for a Saturday wheeling trip with my son and his buddy.
