I bed lined the interior of my old 98. It looked great and was easy to clean, but vaccuuming is just as easy in my opinion. I live in an area that is very sandy and that was the main reason I did it. However, I'm not sure about the older xjs, but post 96, there is a lot of floor insulation that is basically duct wrap under the carpet. The easiest way I found to remove it, was to let dry ice sit on it until it starts bubbling, then quickly scrape it with a puddy knife. Honda guys know what I'm talking about, for sure.

Thanks, I wasn't going to do the flares at all but I did the cut and fold and that left a lot of cut metal edges. I didn't want to get any rust later so I just basicly sealed it all up with the bedliner. I'm going to repaint the whole thing semi flat OD green soon and I will paint over the bedliner on the flares so it won't be as noticable.
