I have a few more questions
How do I lower and raise my antenna?
When i put it in 4-wheel drive either setting it has a light that says "part time", is that normal
which 4x4 setting should i use when i do use it?
Still working on p/s leak.

If you transfer case shifter looks like this you have the Selec-Trac (NP242) transfercase option with Full Time or Part Time 4X. Full Time 4X can be used all the time, anywhere but Part Time must only be used on slippery surfaces (off road, gravel, ice/snow covered).
The Part Time dash light being on while you're in Full Time 4X is a mystery to me but I'll research it. Maybe someone else will reply that does know.

If you have Selec-Trac read this.
"Part Time light always on"... little google searching and I find that there is a position sensor that controls the dash lights.
"The sensor is located on the transfer case where the auto trans and transfer case mates about 10 o-clock position. Take it off and if the plunger is binding when you push on then it is a bad switch. The plunger rides on the cam plate and moves up and down according to the 4-wheel drive lever position."
"It is the position sensor that rides on a cam arm in the trans. at each position it sends a resistance value to the PCM."
I would try exercising the sensor by moving the transfercase lever through all positions while stopped and see if that will get the dash lights to work correctly.

btw Ian, I'm pretty sure you have an 4.0L I6 not the V6

If it looks like below you have the Command-Trac transfer case.
Command-Trac 4wheel drive must only be used on slippery surfaces i.e. off road, gravel roads or fully ice/snow covered roads. 4X High would be used where you want to go faster, 4X Low is for slowly crawling up/down and over tough terrain. Click the link and watch a cool video about the Command-Trac.

here's a site to contact Jeep. to get your org. build sheet. Fill it out asking for the build sheet. They will tell you what you have in the laredo. http://www.jeep.com/wccsapp/universa...ull&category=U As for the head liner, sagging is a common problem. Companys on the internet make replacements. (I redid mine, back to org. look, about $50) Or you can use what ever materail you want. Do a search here, on headliners. Alot of threads about it. Your power antenea could be frozen, Mine does in winter. Or not hooked up. Black window trim was option. And it does peel off in time. You can pull it off, and live with the chrome. Or replace it. From a JY? or order new trim. Here's a site with Mopar-Jeep OEM parts catalogs. Find your year and down a copy in PDF format. For future ref. http://www.xjjeeps.com/tech_referenc...section=2&ID=0

You have a fiberglass liftgate so it may be different than my 2000 (steel).
On my liftgate there are 4 phillips (+) above the rear window, 2 either side of the window and 2 T-27 torx screws in the pull down handle. The 2 T-27s may be covered by rubber/plastic covers that can be pulled out. Then get your fingers in along the edge and pull, there are a bunch of spring clips along each edge.

That's pretty funky looking Ian
Did you get your steering wheel straightened out?
Rear wiper?
When my rear windshield wiper would not work I removed the motor and gear box (wiper transmission) and drilled out the rivets that hold the gear box together (3/16" drill) and cleaned out the old cement like grease, removed and lubed the shaft, lubed the gears and electric contacts with dielectric grease and reassembled the unit with pop rivets. I took photos as I disassembled the gear box so I could get it back together right.
