Default belt keeps slipping. please help!

My belt has slipped off 4 times now. Always after it gets wet. When I wheel it obviously is prone to getting moisture on it. All the other Cherokees I go with don't seem to have this problem and they don't have the splash guard underneath. The pulleys seem to be fine. None are having any problems by looking at them. It's always after I shut her down and start her back up after just getting wet that it slips. I need help or suggestions. Anyone else have this problem?

You need to make sure the belt is tight enough. Also, recheck that all of your pulleys are lined up and not lose.

I had that issue and it turned out to be a harmonic balancer that was going out. Could also be a pulley alignment issue. Maybe a bent bracket or something. This is assuming you've already checked the tension.
