'95 & '96 XJ booster and MC should fit (plus or minus the plastic spacer) without any fabrication aside from the brake light sensor. Crown part#4761788 for booster and #4761941 for MC. That booster was only used for those two years. The MC was used for a wider span of years

Ah, okay. Grab a 99 to 04 WJ booster/master with flexible lines from a junkyard.

In my opinion, in your situation of needing to find someone willing to do the work, you're better off with the 95-06 Booster/MC kit from Omix that I linked to in another thread. The reason the 99-04 swap is more popular is, try finding a 95-96 XJ in a junkyard. Now try to find a 99-04 WJ Grand Cherokee; much easier... The 99+ WJ setup requires a little bit of grinding to allow the brake switch to work properly; the 95-96, with that f'in spacer, bolts in... As far as I can tell, it should be as easy as taking that kit of Omix, a proportioning valve from a non-ABS XJ, and if you're really trying to make their life easy, the necessary fittings to connect the two, to any mechanic worth their salt and they should easily be able to make the change.

I don't think you have to grind for 91 and later as they got the same brake light switch as the later models. If it's 84 to 90, for sure the grinding.
I had no idea there was a kit!!

Interesting... I noticed when installing the 95-96 stuff in my 94 that the end of the booster rod wasn't ground flat. "Hey, if it works..." I spend some time looking for instructions for that Omix kit prior to recommending it, but came up empty. Perhaps they tell you to grind, perhaps you replace the switch. Good to know though about the 91+. Thanks.

There is another option on the switch 84 to 90 if you don't have or want cruise control.
No grinding needed.
