so i was wondering what company makes the best lift coils for the xj. my coil springs are so stiff and my ride is crap unless i keep my tires air down. i think i have older style rustys coils. i want a softer coil please help.

i am thinking rubicon express will be the best beat

I run some IRO 4" ones on mine and love them over the lower rate RC's... Define harsh? Its a solid axle vehicle.... they aren't exactly Cadillacs

like I said, the IRO ones are really nice compared to a soft RC (I think they have two rates available)

Most people will tell you Rubicon Express is the best, cause there the most expensive, and they don't know any better. The Rough Country springs ride just as good as RE and are much cheaper.

Do you have the factory arms still? It will ride like crap if you have bigger springs with the factory lower arms.. I got Skyjacker Coils on my current jeep and had RC on my last one the Skyjackers are a little stiffer but takes off road bumps better.. Hope this helps goodluck!

step 1 go long arm. the rigs ride so much better on long arms

step 2 get real shocks, no rancho skyjacker rustys crap, get some bils under there

ok bilsteins are overpriced for the mostly same quality of jackers. and plus bills cost 3 times more then jackers. sold auto parts for 5 years. nitro jackers work very well. I have the drop brackets with adjustable iron man fabication shot arms. the cheapest thing on my truck was the coils. they where pretty much free. so please dont tell me things i have a junk because there not. this was a easy question about coils not the other gear on my rig. it build right. just looking for the best coils
