as a firefighter i recommed a block heater. before you turn off the jeep turn on the defroster, and leave the heater plugged in. the warmth from the coolant will help somewhat to leave the glass warm. put a plastic bag under the wiper on nights it is snowing, dont use cardboard it will stick to the glass. and from experience, dont forget to quickly unplug the heater from the jeep. i know you dont have time to unplug it at the house also, so i would recommend a gfci outlet or some sort of surge protector incase the end would short out, or you forget to unplug it. with the block heater, you have heat as soon as you start your jeep, its not operating temp., but it will help you on the way to the station, and its way better than nothing at all, good luck man.

i also run amsoil. it reads 40+ psi, until operating temp, then its only 20 psi at 2k rpm, and only 10psi at idle. i dont know if its best to redo the bearings, and pump, or try a 40w. oil?

i run 10-30 year round. It gets about 15-20 degrees at the coldest and 105-110 at the hottest.
