I also have the super flex and discos. My shock choice was and is BDS. They and OME have a better all around shock IMHO. Hydros would be my second choice and that is just based upon type of driving and percentages of on vs off road usage.

I run 31" Firestone destination M/Ts and they are fine in rain/snow and the highway noise isn't that bad (considering). i drive mostly on road/highway. I finally took them in mud the other day and i was thoroughly impressed.

agreed, BDS makes gooooood stuff. I have a BDS heavy duty steering stabilizer, helped control my death wobble so now its just a shimmy, doesnt do that terrifying thing where the front end about falls apart if you hit a bump. I might go for some BDS shocks in the future.

That sounds like a great setup. Check to see if that setup comes with a trackbar, im 99% sure it does. RE makes a good track bar, thats what i have it came with it but mine was a 4.5". I have a BDS steering stabilizer helps keeps the shimmying under control, its about $75 I think IIRC... Thats a good way to go. As for t-case drop, i highly doubt you need it. Its its a 97+ theres a better chance you will but id skip that for now, the kit might come with it. If you end up needing to do a $600 SYE/CV driveshaft mod then you will kick your self for not just going ahead and getting the 4.5".... sooooo i wouldnt plan on it, it should be fine w/o it...

OEM Tracbar is fixed. The reason we need adjustable ones is because we lift our jeeps which ultimately sets off the center of the axle and the adjustability of the tracbar allows us to account for that.

Basic geometry is restored with a lifted Jeep when an adjustable trackbar re-centers the front axle under the center of the Jeep. A raised jeep with an OEM trackbar has an offset axle which is offset to the drives side of the vehicle. The adjustable trackbar allows the axle to come back to the center of the Jeep and thus restores the OEM geometry.
