id like 33's but i'm having a hard time finding a decent set pretty cheap but i can find 35s and up all day lol. it's like no one gets rid of 33s till they're slicks. i wouldn't mind being able to through 38's on it though with wheel spacers and trimming, my cherokee isn't the worst but it's not the prettiest and i want to be able to romp through the 1/4mile mud boggs in the pines here in jersey lol.

yeah if you look at his info it has his build in the statistics page and why not go a tad higher like to 4.5 or 5 inches that way you are not trimming as much and you can have a little bit of travel

yea i might have just found some 35s so i think i'm going to trim for and run those until i can lift it up a little more, any more lift and i will be running an sye and the works to keep it right. plus looking at that thing on 37's i don't need anymore than that.

well it just depends on the heep as to what you need to do for the lift some need a sye at a few inches and i am at about 4.5 inches with no sye and no vibes but i have some degree shims on the leafs and that will help some. and 35 is a good size to run but don't forget to do the gears or you wont be getting through the mud very fast

yea i would really like to build a good set of rears so i can just swap them under one weekend. and from what i've read the sye helps keep from putting added stress on the trans so I'd like to do that.

I was told that the back spacing on the rims i have are 4.5 but i'm not sure because i never personally checked i'm gonna have to do that the next time i pop the tires off. thanks for the info so far guys, you got my hopes up and I'm really hopeing i'll be able to run some 35s under this jeep.

How big of a tire
I bought this 1998 cherokee that came with a 3"rc lift. I am more of a mudder than a climber and with mudding the bigger the tires the better. I know all about building/gearing the rears for bigger tires and all and I've gone over every lift/big tire/ small lift big tire threads i could find and nothing has answered this question. With a 3" lift and probably a lot of trimming, what is the biggest lift i could fit on a cherokee? I'm trying to avoid anymore lift because thats just more money and I'm cheap lol. I'd love to lift it later for 38s but I'm not sure when that would be.
