Bleeding slave cylinder trouble!

Bleeding slave cylinder trouble!
I have been trying to bleed my hydraulic clutch system but it has not been cooperating. I can't seem to get the air bubbles out. I do know the basics, the way you pump the breaks and open the bleeding hole to let the air out then close it before you release the breaks. So that's what I've been doing with the clutch.

Best way is to pull the cap off the master, take the slave out of the tranny, and actuate the rod with the slave pointing towards the ground, it will help move the air bubbles up to the master and out
