On my 1998 Jeep grand Cherokee he I've had problems with the blower motor in the past and have replaced it. Come to find out the resistor was blown and that also is replaced I can hear the dampener doors opening and closing but no air is blowing out all parts are brand new and there is no corrosion. Any ideas please help me!

Anyone who is replacing the pigtail in there 98 grand this is a part number for a more heavy duty pigtail that's used in a corvette, it's made by AC Delco but absolutely works in jeep gc zj , just make sure you tell the guy or girl at parts store to cross reference this part number PT1231 cause it won't show up as a jeep part but it will on cross reference, anyway I hope this saves you some time from having to order on line as this part can be store bought

My blower stopped working right before a coming heat wave. I replace the relay and resistor but no change. I decided to look at where to blower was under the hood and reached in and wiggled the wires going into the blower motor housing. Now the blower works. I may have to dig into it further but at least how have AC.

Wanted to jump in and show what I have done thanks to this thread:
Last weekend changed the blower resistor and everything came back on right away ($52)
Today, it went dead again. Checked everything and the "wiggle" at the wiring harness at the back of the blower motor under the hood on the firewall got everything back on. From here Ill keep trying to learn about changing that harness, or hopefully clean it up.
